Bayern played with 5 players that did not start against PSG. Apart from Pavard/Stanisic in the back 3 the team that played against PSG is probably what you would call the first 11 that will start the big matches.

Augsburg is one of Bayern's bogey teams - the only regional derby - and Bayern lost the away match in September...
The first goal after 2 minutes - Bayern was still "sleeping". But they fought back already in the first half time and went into the break with a 4:1. After the 2:1 or 3:1 the win was never in doubt - and in the second half Bayern did not really put in much intensity anymore.

Cancelo will get his starts - but he will not be set as starter in big matches if no big injuries etc. occur. With Davies on the left side we will not play with an offensive fullback on the right side when it is 4 at the back - atleast not against bigger opponents. And if it is 3 at the back he competes with the wingers, too.

Going there doesn’t seem to have made Sane any better. But in a one horse league (sadly in a great footballing nation) it doesn’t matter.

Like Zinchenko , Cancelo is defensively naive and not good enough over his career to play regularly for a top eight european side , Cancelo is a good footballer who at times shows sublime passing and dribbling , but when your backs are against the wall he isnt the fella you want along side you.
No chance Bayern are going to shell out £60m for him , he will end up back at the Etihad next season which isnt a terrible thing , if we dominate opposing teams he is good man to have for twenty/thirty games a season or from the bench.
But it appears he doesnt like sitting on his arse gathering splinters , which is fair enough, but at a club like ours probably the majority of the squad are only going to play 60/70% of games ,Cancelo either needs to accept squad rotation or find another club.
