The look on his face when he was asked to take his layers off to come on last night, just about summed him up.

You'd think that he'd be itching to get on and prove a point, but he had that whiny looking face that pretty much summed up his whole attitude.

Hopefully good riddance in the summer one way or another, this squad looks 100% together at the moment with everyone pulling in the same direction, and you can see that on the pitch.

Can someone actually say once and for all definitively what he did wrong?

For so many to boo (around me at least in the ground the proper old timers hard-core fans) someone must know something?

Do you know that for a fact or are you just speculating? Sane had his supposed sulks which were never proven but he received quite the ovation yesterday (I love Sane btw). Sure he didn’t get moved on halfway through the season, but then he was injured for his last so it’s impossible to tell if it’s similar.

For all everyone knows it may have been a mutual agreement. Maybe he had absolutely no choice in the matter, but assumption is the mother of all ******* and we just don’t know what happened do we. As a few previous posters have alluded to, booing ex players for nothing more than an assumption isn’t much better behaviour than that expected from the bin dipping murdering scouse.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that he kicked off about not playing, Pep put him in his place and Joao wasn't having it. He forced the club into a position whereby we had to get rid of him because his attitude was that rank that Pep wanted him nowhere near and was willing to take a hit on the size of the squad just to facilitate it which says a lot.

His constant comments since rubbed everyone up the wrong way. He could have stayed silent but he took any opportunity to thank Bayern for the chance, hoped to win the CL and so on. A simple no comment would have sufficed but he didn't have it in him to do that. He knows he isn't coming back so don't blame him for not being bothered.
