He is and he doesGreat player, he just needs to learn to keep it simple, he always has his mind set on taking the spectacular shot or pass and you have to be an exceptional player to pull that off.
100% more effective their and helps the team become more fluid in attack. Walker is a great defender 1v1 but offers 0 going forward.He undoubtedly looks miles more comfortable on the right.. I do wonder if Walker will be told to 'take his time' coming back if you catch my drift.

I know they didn't have a strong attack, but Cancelo almost looked bored at times. He is so comfortable on that right side, I'd like to see him play over there more.

Rewatched the game and noticed that some shots from Cancelo in the 2nd half were very bad choice.
Marked by several Sevilla defenders in front of him. He had no angle to shoot and teammates unmarked asking for the ball next to him. He pulled a very bad shot in the end.
Pep and the other coach sitting next to him looked frustrated - as well as some other City players.
It is Would Cup year and players are more anxious about status. But things like this might cost us. As we saw at Villa and Newcastle etc. Rules must be obeyed. Pass it to your teammates unmarked!

He`s defo better on the right, if we had signed a top class left back then it would have been a perfect window but then again maybe Gomez does a Zinchenko and comes good?

at last someone else noticed his short comings..I really dont see what all the fuss is about hes gash ! big time, for the odd thing he gets right ...theres a dozen times he doesnt..Pep IS frustrated...For an INTERNATIONAL player he gives the ball away far too much..One game i watched, 10 times on the trot after his last touch the ball ended up with the opposing team..An ouside of the foot pass every now and then isnt enough..Like Sane to me and PEP got rid of him for exactly what Cancelo does...poor IMO obviously and we do see all things differentlyRewatched the game and noticed that some shots from Cancelo in the 2nd half were very bad choice.

You think he is gash but the best manager in the history of the world started Cancelo 51 times last season which is more than any other player in Pep's time here.
As for Pep's frustration he gets frustrated with every player in moments.

I think he’d be our best winger if Pep gave him a chance to play a bit further up. Gomez and Cancelo both on the left could be tasty.

There was another great pass last game, also with outside of right boot, that took even KDB by surprise and he ended up apologizing if I remember correctly.De Bruyne on full back. Another stellar cross.
