Wonder is this being going on for a bit and was the reason we’ve struggled of late
The main reason we're struggling is that we have a big change in system - with a true striker who isn't great at build-up. We've had to attempt adjustment accordingly - and it's had mixed results.Wonder is this being going on for a bit and was the reason we’ve struggled of late
Possibly, but Phil isn't doing himself any body language favours either with Pep.
It makes the decision to sell Zinny all the more maddening.
Yep would be much more disheartened to see Phil see his arse and be moved on. Hopefully this situation is the kick up the arse he needs as mentioned earlier in this threadThat is far more worrying imo.
Cancelo is no loss but Phil in danger of ruining his career is serious shit.
Several years ago I was convinced that Pep would leave us after 3 years in charge - based on several books I read about him. He did not. He renewed several times.

I think that Pep will stay with Man City - perhaps for the remainder of his career as manager. Because in Man City - he has the perfect situation. He's given a huge say in signings - and he's backed 100% by top management. Whatever Pep wants - he gets.
Perhaps Pep gets bored of managing and wants a break - and thus resigns. Might City accommodate this hiatus - allowing Pep to take a temporary break with an interim manager in charge - I think that we would absolutely do this.
If Pep leaves us - maybe it's for Barca - or the Spanish national side - things we can't offer Pep. Otherwise - I now see Pep remaining our manager until he retires from football.
A big part in all this -I’m sure Mrs Cancelo wants to leave TownDidn't help that Scousers burgled his house that time.

Haaland is our main option - and for good reason. But that's overlooking the big tactical change we're now struggling with.yes I know , we have been constantly adjusting all season. We are creating fewer chances though and we seem to just go through Haaland now
yeah because when selling a player in the summer you always factor in will another player turn into a massive mard arse bellend 5 months later. It makes the decision to sell Zinny all the more maddening.

flogging Oleks (and rightly so) has nowt to do with this.
Peps after match interview v spurs looks even more of a master stroke
Pushed a few buttons and low and behold the moaner looks to be going
I reckon some players were getting clicky, trying to exert some power.
Pep called it and they crumbled as a group.
I no proof of this at all except reading some of the posts here from people who may know more
Appreciate it palPerhaps Ray thinks Arsenal are going to buy Tevez?
Meanwhile on planet Earth, wow. Kudos to @mattyb , I was defending him on Twitter just the other day so I'd glad to see my trust wasn't misplaced.
Barca maybe, but don't think there's any chance he manages Spain, either from his feelings or those in Madrid about him.If Pep leaves us - maybe it's for Barca - or the Spanish national side - things we can't offer Pep. Otherwise - I now see Pep remaining our manager until he retires from football.
Don’t forget his role in our collapse against Madrid. Or his performance against Villa last game last year. And the sending off against Fulham. Early in the game, should have let him go and against Salah, with 10mins to go should have taken the red. Decision making!!!
this is the full back who Sterling ripped a new arsehole at the Etihad last season, no thanksGo all in for Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves.
