he’s a shadow of the 2017-18 and 2018-19.

18 goals already. Hardly a shadow of the previous 2 seasons, given that he has scored more goals at this point of the season than in any other season so far. IIRC, he scored 24 and 26 goals in the last 2 seasons. He might go above 30 this season. Hope he continues to be a shadow like that. Imagine if he wasn't a shadow. He would have scored 50 goals already.

Arsed, those 2 have been levels above the tap in king so far this season. Hopefully his form comes back but currently I’m sure you know he’s not been playing anywhere near as well as the previous 2 seasons.
He is not playing well but still has 17 goals,he is allowed to be out of form,no-one is playing particularly well,strange you want to chuck him under the bus for those 2

People's memories are short. I think the Atalanta game was probably the best all around game I've seen him play for us.

He's knackered because he's having to play every game. The fact he's still managing to get the goals and assists despite running on fumes is a big plus, not a negative.

Not chucking him under the bus just pointing out the media have gone from one extreme to another with him. Obviously that isn’t his fault but he’s getting all this hype now when he’s out of form and in the past he got no credit. He can get close to Mane’s level or maybe even match his form but at the moment he’s nowhere near it. We need more from him and that’s not being unfair he’s just capable of more.

Sterling was fantastic in the 2nd half against Liverpool. Arguably, he was the best player on the pitch. His form has dipped after that, maybe partly because of the altercation with Gomez and what followed. Raz is a top man but such things influence him. He scored 3 goals in the last 2 games, hopefully he will regain form soon.

You have called him pelligrini sterling ,arrogant etc several times now,anyone would think you have an agenda..

Nope - I'm just finding out the reasons of this season`s failures..

And Sterling -> is one of them definitely.

I don't understand your reasoning at all.

For me, the reason(s) we're struggling are:
1) Injury to Laporte;
2) Did not strengthen at CB;
3) Did not strengthen at LB;
4) Immediate press following turnover is off. Not sure why;
5) Stones (especially) and Otamendi are not at all in top form (compounding reason 1).

The title has gone this season. But I think we'll finish 2nd. We have a major rebuild ahead of us in next summer's window.

Back on topic - Sterling has been class this year - he's got nothing to do with where we are in the table atm.

Im not sure "class" is the right description, he has been poor by his standards for a few weeks now
