I absolutely love watching him dart around off the ball. His movement is sooooooo good.


Look at it like this folks, he's apparently not playing well but he still gets goals. And yet the only way is up right? Can't wait!

Yes he's scoring the tap ins but his overall play is below his best. Concedes possession too easily. He used to run at defenders like Foden does but now he dallies too long letting the opponents reform.

His goal compilations wouldn't be particularly exciting viewing but his ability to make those perfectly timed runs is very impressive.

When he was struggling and missing hats full of chances the one thing I pointed out to anyone who would listen was his movement and awareness of space, which really is elite level. He's playing within himself at the moment, probably a bit knackered, but he's still getting into those dangerous areas. Probably need more from him but can't fault his contribution

I don't like him...

Was my favorite when he had that "Pedro" role and was trying to come out of the "flop player" shadow.
Now he is arrogant, thinks that is on the level of "Messi" or "Ronaldo" and works less for the team, is concentrated more on goals and etc.

Pep should be more strict with him. Return on the right wing and make him give those assists like he was used to during the Pep`s first two years.

Completely agree with that..

His overall play is regressing since he started playing on the left..
He hasn't been such bad - since the Pellegrini period.

And if someone thinks that scoring some "easy" goals (like yesterday) would mean that he is the top player - that's BS..

You have called him pelligrini sterling ,arrogant etc several times now,anyone would think you have an agenda..

He’s only in the top bracket in his own mind this season and with the media who have gone from one extreme to another with him. He wants to watch Mané and Salah to see what top bracket is at the moment.

The quality of his general play has hit a brick wall. His control of the ball, dribbling and general passing look like they’ve gone backwards.

He’s never had a great deal of skill but that’s not developed to the level of his growth in understanding space and timing of runs.

Those two things have seen him be a better player than he was under Pellegrini and Pep’s first season but he’s a shadow of the 2017-18 and 2018-19.

He needs a rest but now isn’t the time for that. There are too many big games ahead so he’s going to have to play through this rut and come out of the other side.

How many goals assists does each player have this season so far?

Arsed, those 2 have been levels above the tap in king so far this season. Hopefully his form comes back but currently I’m sure you know he’s not been playing anywhere near as well as the previous 2 seasons.
