These questions are so weird, as they move the goalposts to try to make a point.

Kevin is the best #10 in the world. Sterling is not the best winger in the world (Neymar is better).

Kevin is the better player, he should get paid more. Has nothing to do about the main discussion though.
Not weird at all.
Clearly we see a totally different player, that's what a forums for, discussing opinions

Barely any of my frustrations with Sterling are about his goal scoring, although he does miss big chances in the biggest of games and is woeful at 1v1s.

It’s almost fully about his general play.

Yeah and that’s because he’s not in form. His general play was excellent for the best part of 4 years. Very strange you ignore his amazing periods which far outnumber his bad periods. Without him we wouldn’t have come close to winning the treble.

Why aren’t you sure? He’s proven to be one of the best players in Europe in his position. He’s had 2 bad half seasons in over 4 years and for the rest of that time he’s been excellent. We’d be screwed without his ginormous contribution in that time and wouldn’t have had all the success we have done.
I do agree with that.

For the question; I think it’s his age that makes me unsure. He’s at that age now where his dribbling into players legs, not being able to control through balls when he has to take the touch to get it under control (rather than run onto it), and the quality of his crossing into the box from wide (especially on the left where his crossing quality is non-existent - take that Foden cross for Mahrez’s header in the Burnley game, Raz doesn’t have that in his locker and it’s a huge part of playing wide) is going to be difficult to improve on if he hasn’t already done it.

If he was 20 I’d think he had plenty of time to iron them out. But he’s 26.

As I say, I hope I’m wrong though.

Very true!

Think he needs a good kick up the arse and has done for a very long time now. Surely Phil has nailed that left wing spot now? Which would/could leave Sterling, Mahrez and Torres battling for the spot on the right? Hopefully Ferran can stay fit (and healthy!) and hit form

His technique summed up then. How many more shit pens before he’s told not to take them.
