Sane was the sole of the attack and a creative type of player..
Sterling had more goals (not assists) but most of them were tap-ins.
Sane was more influential than Sterling in 2017/2018 - all the attacks were through him and I am not talking about enjoyment he was bringing to the supporters and how happy we were every minute he touched the ball.
But right now when Sterling is left alone and has to create something - we see that he has nothing to offer.
That's why we should have some understanding here.. There are two types of attackers: creators and users..
Sane was creator..
Sterling is user..
We need an attacker - who is able to transform our possession into moments, otherwise what's the point to have the ball all the time. Today only Cancelo was trying to do that and he isn't even an attacker :D
