I thought he played OK in midfield but terrible up front. I cant blame a player for being poor. (Same with Mahrez at the start if the season.) It's Pep whi's to blame. Same as it was Pep fault for playing him against Leeds. I just hope we replace our weaker players this summer so Pep can't allow his faith in the players to be as costly.

It was very much sarcasm.I'm surprised you did miss it given the abhorrent and unfounded comments that have been slung at me and others over the past few weeks. The line was very much over stepped, and no apologies have yet been made.

As for today's performance - woeful, the fella isn't worth a place in the team,he can't even get the basics right and given the length of time this is lasting......the future doesnt look good for him,or us,if he stays here.
No I’d not seen them mate or id have stood in your corner previously. Whoever is throwing around such accusations is obviously a nobber

I did double take when I saw your post but assumed you must have been pissed or something.

Back to Sterling, I’ve slept on it and I’m still fuming about his performance. He is so far from being the player he was 18 months or 36 months ago it’s untrue. How can he demand a bumper pay increase when this is how he’s playing?

I genuinely don't think I've seen a worse individual performance in the post takeover era. We've had some shocking players in that time as well.

He looked like a fucking toddler running into the ball but with none of the enthusiasm.

The annoying part was that there was a run he made early in the second half where I thought "right, here he is" but everything before and after was fucking crap.

The one thing you could you take from Sterling is that his effort was always there whether he was poor on the ball or not, he'd always put in a shift.

The past 2 games he's just not been that player, yesterday he was just jogging whilst the Chelsea defenders had the ball.

I'm kind of used to him sometimes not having control of the ball or just running into players with but one thing that's different now is his attitude trying to win it back which isn't there.

We’ve been guilty in the past of not cashing in for players at the right time (see yaya) and this summer is the right time to move sterling on, especially if he has a half decent Euros (if he makes the squad)

Another season of this form and his value will drop significantly.

If we can get anything from 80m for him let’s just do the deal and move on. Nowhere near the technical ability as the rest of the squad but he plays due to his pace and ability to beat the full back....yet doesn’t try to beat the full back. Slows our play down, is sloppy in possession, isn’t brave with the ball and can’t finish to save his life. I think he’s finished at city.

The last thing I'd ever associate with you would be asking for an apology for abhorrent comments. Absolutely and fucking unbelievable pisstake of the century after what you typed on here before your sabbatical.

There are players that I am happy for us to buy young, keep for a decade and then let leave on a free. They are so good that they can just decide when they want to leave and I am totally fine with it. They are not seen as financial assets. Sterling is not one of those players. He has to be sold if a decent offer was to come in, but unfortunately I don’t see that there’s a market for him in the state the world’s in right now.

The way he’s playing right now I don’t think there was ever a market for him. I hope it’s just tiredness or a confidence issue, because if it’s to do with his contract/demands and it’s affecting him to the extent that we saw yesterday then I don’t see a way back for him.

You want everyone on benefits beaten to within an inch of their lives. To which you repeated 'everyone"

This wasn't tongue in cheek or a pisstake and post you'd take back, you fuckin meant it. Thread pulled but site owner was aware of it!

So when you acuse posters of abhorrent post towards you think back at the constant bile you target at less fortunate folk.
