His shot that hit the post was unlucky, was a good take and good strike. He played a good ball thrpugh to Torres too when cancelo had a shot. The other chances he had wasn't unlucky that was simply poor play. His touch and decision making isn't a confidence thing unfortunately, it's just not good enough. If somebody comes in with a good enough bid, I can't see how we can say no.
 
Will always invite criticism when he puts in performances like that.
He needs to score in these types of games and needs to leave free kicks well alone just because he scored one once.
No doubting his effort and work rate but need to see much more with the ball rather than without it.
6/10 at a push which is down to a much improved second half.
 
It’s not happening for him at the moment. As others say there is no lack of effort. He has made a real contribution to our recent success so ala Mahrez hopefully he’ll regain his form.
 
Just put your foot through it Sterling, there's no need to keep trying to walk it in

He did improve overall in the first half though
 
The last two games have certainly been better. He's getting into better positions and looking a bit more involved. That early strike off the post is exactly the kind of shot he (and to be fair a couple of others too) should be taking far more often. Hit it hard, low, and early, and see what happens. Not where we need him to be yet but some encouraging signs
 
Unlucky with the shot that hit the post, looked a lot better in the second half. However, he desperately needs a goal to restore some confidence.
 
Like most of the team, poor first half, better second half.
 
Never stops trying, just his form has fallen off a cliff and try as he might nothing is coming off for him
