But Salah is the focal point of Liverpool's attack, dropping into a more central position to receive passes from Firmino or Jota. Sterling tends to stay wider. If City's whole game plan was to get the ball to Sterling, and our manager encouraged his midfielders and striker to never shoot, Sterling would probably get as many goals as Salah or more.

Watched a different game to me then, thought he either lost it or did the normal kick it straight at a player to no effect most of the game.

Sterling can't be a focal point of this team tho thats why pep prefers grealish and foden there. Sterling is a very good goal scorer but lets be real salah is a better play than him, If salah was in our team he'd out score sterling and contribute more. Sterling may not have been the focal point in previous years but he has had the perfect role which allowed him to get loads of goals. Once the system change happened last season sterling struggled.
