So; this whole "Mr Whippy" thing. How did it come about? Is it as simple as that picture of the bloke who (sort of) vaguely resembles Ilkay, standing in front of an ice cream van? Or is there some deeper, subliminal vibe going on here? Like when you could play records (younger BMers, ask your dads) backwards and could hear satanic messages.

That there are possible BMers who don't understand this, makes me feel old :)

Has there been any news on how bad the injury was? Will he play against Everton on Wednesday or miss out on the rest of February? Literally heard nothing yet.

I wonder if Ilkay might just win PFA player of the year.

At this rate it would be robbery of the century if he didn't.

Only one that I can see getting the nod over him is that ugly, ugly man over at Stretford just because of the kit he wears and tbf his numbers are good but he has close to zero games where he looks spectacular or look like the world beater the stats or their inbred fanbase suggests he is. He just kind of delivers goals which is fair enough but Gundo run games and has morphed into a hybrid of KdB and David Silva and delivers exactly what we need from either of them on a pretty consistent basis right now. At this moment in time he is a better midfielder than Kev and that is a pretty insane thing to say but I believe it to be true
