Hope he doesnt stay any longer. Lovely intelligent player but simply cannot keep up with pace of the premier league. City need to replace and spend in this area to keep us up there.

Got to be his last season as a starter in this team, still got the nice touches and passing range, but he's far too slow now to mix it with the more dynamic sides

He was excellent today, only one who was consistently looking for a pass forward before looking for a pass sideways and always on the move to receive balls after he's passed it, he was central to every slick move. And that's after taking a right go smack in the opening minutes that nearly knocked him out. Should have scored.

Good performance. Seems to be getting his form back. Will be needed as we head into the champions league!

Thought he looked quicker today than he has in recent games. Got to many second balls and made runs into the box.

Been a great servant and he will still have moments of magic throughout a season, but he can’t move.

Offering him a new deal would be a terrible mistake.
