Has all the attributes to suggest he's going to be one hell of a player. At 17 to get game time already shows how highly rated he is and he'll get better and better the more he plays. The 5 sub rule is brilliant for us to give game time to our younger players and particularly to rest and rotate our full backs.

Seems decent and solid and then you remember he's 3 or 4 years younger than you see most guys debut in that position.

How good can he be at 21?
Would ask how tall he will be at 21 as well - he looks very comfortable on the ball and clearly highly rated to be in the team at his age, but hie does look a bit small at the moment.

Looks very good though even if he is coming on when the game is already won.

Height is overrated in terms of physical development, people put too much into it.

He just needs to be stronger, faster and smarter. That's the development he needs. It doesn't matter if he doesn't get taller, and at 17 (turning 18 in a few months), he has likely reached his peak height.

You don't stop growing until you're about 21 (22 in Haaland's case - as mentioned on his signing day).

Therefore he might grow another couple of inches yet.

Oh, this is absolutely not true.

Most males reach there peak height between 16-17, and some may continue to grow vertically until 18, and very rarely 19 or 20 (these are absolutely extreme outliers).

Muscle mass peaks in your 20s, I am not talking about that. I am purely talking about vertical height.

Haaland grew 1 cm taller in the past year. I definitely didn't finish growing at 16-17 either.

It's not rare for people to grow after 17.

Depends what age you hit puberty!

Growth charts show that majority of guys grow just a little after the ages of 18. In rare cases, some people may hit puberty in their late teens and continue to grow into their early twenties. The reason most guys stop growing at this age is because their growth plates fuse shortly after puberty.
