I was getting so frustrated that we weren’t picking out his runs in the second half. He was always looking to get in behind but was largely ignored.

Looks like we have a fine RB on our hands.

Brilliant from Rico last night. He was always an option in attack and was solid in defence. Took his goal very well and got a great response from the crowd.

played really well and was even mature enough to play through a half as an inverted full back, which many seasoned pros would labour with.

the best thing about his goal was the joy on his face, i hope that memory stays with him forever.

He's good. But he'll never be as young as Jude Bellingham.

The whole game he has 2 misplaced passes and when he did he either won it back or stopped the break

Looking at him and the way he plays, I think he'll do what Kimmich did, start off at full back but eventually move inside.

I thought he was excellent last night and I think he now has given himself a chance to play more this season. Especially when Cancelo needs a rest.

What a boy. Hope he can keep pushing on, I think Walker only has another season in him or so. We will need a new RB, and fingers crossed this lad could be his replacement.

First half we were playing too much like we do with Walker, which isn't Lewis' game at all. To get the best out of him he should be allowed to play like a typical overlapping, marauding fullback, I think. More of a Zabaleta than a Walker. Second half he was allowed to play to his strengths and was one of the best players on the pitch.
