No pressure then

There nowt wrong with seeing a likeness to others you've seen and nothing any of us can say that will put any pressure on, he already has that to deal with at the club training with the very best and it's dog eat dog world and he can be a wolf I just made some compatisons, he'll stay fully focused thanks to Pep the coaches and other playing staff plus those in his family/personal life, the very best players rise above any pressures eventually and he's already starting to do so which is nice to see. There's no guarantees in football Rico just needs to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground and focus on improving, his career is being managed perfectly well right now, it'll take time but you can tell for his age he has a great football brain the drive needed to succeed and plenty of ability.

I only read this an hour back but look at what Pep said about him after last night.

“He is so clever, so intelligent. If you say something, he doesn’t need to practice more because he knows what happened during the game.

“We see him every day. We don’t give presents here. Not just because he is a City fan from the Academy is he going to play. You have to earn it.

“In the training sessions we always thought this guy has something special.

“Defensive he is aggressive enough. He has the margin to improve but with the ball inside he is so good and outside we saw today, one v one good crosses and good finishing.

As Pep stated last night "you have to earn it" there's no favours at this club and he's more than earning it, he's taking his chance I reckon some other prem teams might already have started him a bit, we aren't that stupid like most others and we won't rush him like Phil in the past and Cole now he's gonna be eased in to the team slowly, Kyle and Joao will keep him focused on earning a spot in the next couple years he has everything to prove so will be doing all he can to impress Pep, he has great potential it's clear to see and the only thing we need to do is be careful not to expose him to way too much too soon.

I'd imagine he didn't get much kip last night, replaying that moment over and over in his head.

Or....

He could have been mentally and physically wrecked after the anticipation and excitement once he knew he was in the starting XI, and slept like a baby.
