Interesting how people perceive things differently. I'm not saying your wrong but the way I saw it was that he was looking for the ball and sometimes had players on him when being passed to, but that is part of City's way of playing and the fact that his team mates were willing to play balls to him in this position and the way he dealt with the ball when it arrived showed real quality.

Yes, if you can't take the ball under pressure you don't belong in this team.

The fact he was given the ball in those situations shows how much his teammates trust him.

You won't get into our Academy unless you are comfortable on the ball, the next step is doing it under pressure, last night Rico proved he belongs at this level, there will be bumps in the road ahead but I feel he will come through eventually

I think it was maybe Gundo who absolutely fired a pass to him under pressure in the first half and he just dealt with like it was nothing. Genuinely think this is the start of something special.

I thought there was something I’d heard - maybe on here.
I don’t think it’s talked about tbf pal, I think the narrative is that he’s a life long blue, but he isn’t. Doesn’t make a difference though.

Just watched Peps after match interview. He seemed genuinely proud of the kids performance.
Take a bow young man.
