Trying to figure out what he did wrong tonight to get so much stick?
It's not an experiement. We have no choice until either Ake, Akanji or Stones can return. Forest was the most likely line up to claw back somepoints but injuries have hampered that.
If pep plans to use Lewis the same way(and Walker) for the next 2 group game we are 99% out of the group. It will hit the club financially and damage the winter transfer window. The owner needs to have a work with Pep now if Rico reverted is the plan then Pep better take a golf leave.Pep won’t change. He has his favourites and that’s how he’s always been. Frustratingly. But it’s worked throughout his career so who are we to question.
But something needs to change.
He was awful last season, too.Walker's been a great player for us but he's finished, he's just dropped off massively this season.
I thinks it’s not what he does wrong per se it’s just what we lack with him he’s ok on the ball and will move but he doesn’t create he’s not a good defender he just a bit easy to play round and sitting next to gundo who has no legs but is nearly double his age it’s just ending up as a massive hole in our midfieldTrying to figure out what he did wrong tonight to get so much stick?
Far from it. He benched Lewis vs Forest. Injuries to both Ake and Akanji have forced the issue. It's an experiment, same as the Garcia experiment, both nowhere near good enough, even when injured players return Pep will pick him to try and prove a point, it's killing us.
The two final group games aren't until mid and late January. I don't think it's about getting players in January. It's about getting them in EARLY January. If pep plans to use Lewis the same way(and Walker) for the next 2 group game we are 99% out of the group. It will hit the club financially and damage the winter transfer window. The owner needs to have a work with Pep now if Rico reverted is the plan then Pep better take a golf leave.

Nothing. For some reason, he's the scapegoat and not one of the highest-paid players in the world up front who looked like he'd rather be anywhere else.Trying to figure out what he did wrong tonight to get so much stick?
Kyle stood watching their player pick the rebound up and never moved toward him. CriminalThe amount of people blaming him for their second goal and not Walker is genuinely laughable. He blocked the first cross, and Walker still wasn't even 20 yards from getting to McKennie.
I've said many times that I don't even blame Walker anymore. It's solely on Pep for continuing to play him.Kyle stood watching their player pick the rebound up and never moved toward him. Criminal
Should have played a back 3, not a hybrid one with Lewis caught high up the field.I'm sorry but you're talking bollocks. There was literally no-one else who could have played LB tonight.

Fair point, but who else can play? We had 4 senior defenders fit tonight, and they played in a back4I've said many times that I don't even blame Walker anymore. It's solely on Pep for continuing to play him.
