Looked like he had won a competition to play for us tonight. Surely Dias was injured because if not, it was a bizarre sub.
Team full of FOCs and cloggers but let’s blame it all on the kid.
Some of the twats in this thread and in the matchday thread want fucking chinning.
The guy is no good enough full stop, time in the gym will just slow him down further. He needs to spend some time in the gym too easily knocked over.
He has about 80 appearances for us, yet he still doesn't mark his players. Nowhere near Dembele or Barcola for their goals.

Yep, there's no point in having an academy if you are too scared to play them in the first team. They have to get games, and they have to learn and develop. He turned 20 a month ago.

And maybe people are commenting on what they see in front of them every time he plays. He’s played 80 games for us and I haven’t a clue what is supposedly his best positionMaybe Pep Guardiola knows a bit more about his abilities than some sad entitled knobheads on the internet.
Just a thought.
It is different. Walker and De Bruyne showed lots of physical presence when they were at early stage. They have better pace and strength than their peers even at early age.Yep, there's no point in having an academy if you are too scared to play them in the first team. I recall Kyle Walker being fairly average and erratic before he played for Pep. And Kevin De Bruyne like a rabbit in the headlights for Chelsea.
Everybody needs time.
I was going to say he’s doing Rico few favours comparing him to those 2. Their strengths were obvious whereas with Rico it’s quite difficult to say what they’re.It is different. Rico shows none.
I am not saying if a player is slow and small and technical average he cannot grow into a great player but 99.9% chance it won't happen.
Maybe Pep could get him to show these 'abilities' in a game everynow and again instead of rolling round on the floor every time the ball goes near him??Maybe Pep Guardiola knows a bit more about his abilities than some sad entitled knobheads on the internet.
