He has a perfect chance to integrate himself.

Consider our aging midfielders, Kevin and Bernie (also he just will want to leave soon).

Obviously next season the club will be looking at a big marquee signing for these 2, its a good chance for him to stake a claim.

That's the problem - level we're at he can't "flit in and out".

Of course he can. He’s a young player. Bobb, Lewis and all young players are like that. We can’t expect him to be a ready made player, it’s going to take time and as you say we need to trust his talent

Pep’s comments post game about telling Txiki he didn’t want McAtee to be loaned or sold were great. A real sign of intent and trust from the manager.

His skillset is an acquired one and will be useful. Works very, very hard too which is a plus. Never stops running.

Lazy comparison but reminds me of a younger Bernie. Elegant with the ball, hard working and versatile with his positioning. And left footed of course.
