Pep rates him highly, he did last year as well and wanted him to stay. Hope he gets a chance to impress.Id love McAtee to make it with us, very talented LOCAL lad,,very important

I don't think he will. Not because I don't rate him, but I just don't see who he'll supplant in the team for consistent game time.Id love McAtee to make it with us, very talented LOCAL lad,,very important
This is exactly what people were saying about Phil Foden five years ago.I’m slightly concerned that he isn’t going to get enough game time to develop now.
If we are losing or even winning I think pep will probably bring on Gundogan or someone else.
I’ve said it before, but I honestly think we could save ourselves 50m if we invest in Mcatee in the long term. I hope he gets a chance.
I get what you’re saying, but foden was always going to make it at city. He’s a once in a generation talent. I don’t think there’s any point in comparing fodens path to the first team to other players. This is exactly what people were saying about Phil Foden five years ago.
Give James - and Pep - a chance. McAtee has had two years at the Blades, and he’s come back a better player, especially after his second season there, when he and the team had to scrap for every point.
His time at Bramall Lane will have done him the world of good and he has returned to City a better player for it
That's that then.Unfortunately, he is not going to make the cut in this team.
Talent wise, he is okay but every time I watch him play for us, his decision making has been below par.
This is even made worse because he is a midfielder.
Ha.Unfortunately, he is not going to make the cut in this team.

Just a guess? Or whispers through the grapevine?James is going to be in first 11 tomorrow.
He’s barely played for us, so I’m not sure what you’re basing that on?Unfortunately, he is not going to make the cut in this team.

Just a guess. I think Pep will mix the squad in order to give a game time for long-holiday players. James has a place then with Jack on the left.Just a guess? Or whispers through the grapevine?
I'd love to see him get a start, personally. If not versus Ipswich at home, then when?
Yeah, he could do a job on the right wing for us, I reckon. He, Foden, and Lewis, all on the right, all through the academy, would be brilliant.Just a guess. I think Pep will mix the squad in order to give a game time for long-holiday players. James has a place then with Jack on the left.
I can’t see it, mate.James is going to be in first 11 tomorrow.

I doubt very much that he will go out on loan, as Pep said he will be part of the first team squad. No, he won't. What's more, Gundogan's arrival may mean another loan for him. He's not likely to make the match squad once Rodri and Gundo are back in the group.
