Truth is he doesn’t see a lot in young players, unless the ones he plays he thinks are exceptional, and one of them is, usually,but for this lad not to get a sniff but that Nunes is in is beyond fucking daft really, even Merson said today he didn’t know what he was still doing on the pitch Nunes

He never has and never will be good enough for City’s level. Not a criticism of the lad just how it is

I agree he deserves chances but Nunes has 9 goals and assists all comps, our second highest after Haaland. It may be so, but then why bother keeping him around when there have been plenty of clubs interested in him? Also, why bother giving him token minutes in matches - might as well give them to O’Reilly or Wright rather than someone who isn’t good enough?

I share your concerns but would only add that this seems to be part of the perfect storm around the club in that the eds have not been great for a couple of seasons so no one is making a strong case.
Timing is everything as they say and if this season had been 2 seasons ago Palmer and 1 or 2 others would have walked in the team at least I would bloody hope so.
