His level i fear. We all want him to do well but i think it wont be with usHe was one of their best players... I know that doesn't mean a lot, but he was!

Im not sure he was you know, he was in and out of the team. Only did 1800 minutes across the season. 3 Goals and 3 Assists(2 of which came against luton and 1 against Burnley) doesnt scream best player to me. He barely played from march on was either a sub and not brought on or got handful of minutes by being brought on. Anytime he did start he was usually taken off.He was one of their best players... Its a tricky one with him, he hasnt done alot in his cameos but then again its so hard without any rhythm. I dont know the answer, I think id like another loan for a year playing week in week out in the prem before judging.

To be fair he's now had in total more opportunities in the first team & minutes than Palmer ever did at City.
I think heI think a lot of Blues are eager for him to make at it City but so far apart from chipping in a few goals he really hasn't rubber stamped a performance we can all shout about as defining. I have a feeling he maybe used as a pawn in enticing Bayer Leverkusen to cash in Wirtz with us. However, if this deal does go through in the summer (I'm not confident) what does it say about City if Leverkusen are willing to let go of Wirtz & go with McAtee. Who know's if McAtee becomes Wirtz's level in a couple of yrs time helped with continuous first team football & experience. We could save ourselves some serious transfer money if this is the case, but I suspect we're not waiting to find out.
I'd like to see him show a bit more drive and aggression without the ball. To me he looks like he's so focused on making sure that he's in the right position, that he forgets that he's in game. Would expect that to improve with more game time, if he gets it.I think a lot of Blues are eager for him to make at it City but so far apart from chipping in a few goals he really hasn't rubber stamped a performance we can all shout about as defining. Right thread? If you take a touch first and then it hits your arm it’s not a pen.
He has great composure and vision with the ball at his feet in the box for someone who hardly gets any minutes.Barring all the goals he missed, he finally pulled one back.
He also made some good chances as well.
Happy with that, I think he can have a future here.
Marmoush had his effort well saved off his weaker foot and was under pressure, McAtee was completely unmarked and skied it with his stronger footit’s weird that Marmoush gets away with missing two far bigger chances than McAtee (and that’s not a dig at Marmoush, he was great today). Just seems that our academy players are held to an impossibly high standard at times
Id say McAtee had easier chances personally.it’s weird that Marmoush gets away with missing two far bigger chances than McAtee (and that’s not a dig at Marmoush, he was great today). Just seems that our academy players are held to an impossibly high standard at times
