Don’t blame him one bit for wanting to leave. He’s been mistreated by Pep, which is something some people don’t want to hear.

Absolute bollocks. Pep is an employee just like the rest of them, admittedly he has been an outstanding success but the club will survive when he leaves.You don't get it do you.. PEP IS THE CLUB!
Everyone else is expendable, Pep is not.

Don't disagree with the premise but, what do we have to replace James with a bench warmer?If we’re willing to let him go it suggests incomings could already have been agreed. It would be foolhardy after last summer to let players go without better replacements already secured

Pep was clear he wanted him to stay in the summer, presumably he had good moves lined up but he trusted Pep. Appears to have been let down. Hope he goes and shows his talented somewhere were it is appreciated.
