87 | James McAtee - 2024/25

Possibly but we will never know. Surely a bit of playing time for some of them couldn’t be any worse than the dross being served up and I’m sure it’s galvanise an increasingly frustrated fan base, it might not work but we’ll never know if they aren’t given a chance.
One can only assume that he hasn’t impressed in training.

Pep tried him in midfield fot 15 mins vs Feyenoord. He ain’t playing there again any time soon.

Pep always bigs up players. See Nathan Redmond for another example.

O’Reilly has played about 15 games in his career as a 6. He was a number 10 last season.

I’d maybe have tried Wright, but Pep knows better than I and though he gets some things wrong, he generally doesn’t.
Yeah hes a liar, we know that.

I don't care how many games he has played. Everyone had to start somewhere. Pep has got 12 of the 13 wrong. Something has to give.

I don't know if this is true or not, but if so, I can already see Pep saying how he didn't want him to leave. Actions speak louder than words, though.

Most likely bollocks.

Ducker has form for writing complete shit.

Seems like an easy article to make. Take a player who isn't being played that a lot of City fans want to see given a chance, say he's unhappy (well that's a given) and possibly looking for a move.

Those who dislike Pep and think McAtee should start will agree with it.

If we’re willing to let him go it suggests incomings could already have been agreed. It would be foolhardy after last summer to let players go without better replacements already secured

When Academy players see the progress of their ex colleagues at other Prem clubs then it wouldn't be a stretch to think that as a transfer window approaches he may be considering a move away ..
