89 points with 12 wins can history repeat itself?

Sorry to state the obvious, but all we can do it make sure we win enough games to capitalise on any slip up at their end. Slumps have been known to happen, even spectacular ones. The main problem, of course, is there really isn't any room for manoeuvre. Beating the scum in an FA Cup Final wouldn't hurt, either.

Forget it .... it won't happen!

Based on the scum losing another 4? Well maybe, but highly unlikely.

No title winner in recent history has lost more than six games .... the rags have already lost three , they WON'T lose another four !

Probably not but never say never. Not when the landscape can change so quickly. We all know this.

And if not, then the important thing is to have a much better summer than last year's transfer window debacle.

That is an absolute 'must' Pam ......

although whether the Sheikh will trust this particular manager with even more of his money is quite another question.

They lost 3 games in the first 12 this season , we will beat them so they can lose another 3 games records like that are there to be broken and when the pressures on us chasing them strange things happen i agree with pam anything can happen !

The Premiership table has the rags down as being the ONLY side NOT to have drawn a home game this season ..... you just KNOW who are gonna be the first side to draw there !

Depends on who you blame for missing out on our first choice targets. The summer would have been different if Bobby had been given his way in June/July.

Yeah , i'd agree with that .... Mancini appeared to be 'in the dark' for most of the close season with regards to transfers , and he readily admitted it too , that last flurry of transfer activity all appeared to be a bit 'desperate' .... i doubt whether Fergie would put up with that over at the Swamp , he was ringing up Wenger and Van Persie apparently , talking direct to both , convincing Van Persie that it was the right move , and paving the way for the transfer.

Quite frankly if we keep 2nd spot the way we have been playing of late that will be an achievement in itself given we still have to play Chelsea and Tottenham.

Keeping second must be the priority now preferably without the need for Chelsea and Spurs dropping too many points , that is playing with steel and guile which has been missing for much of the season.

You can forget about history repeating itself this year at least.

I would be quite happy if we won 8 of our last 12 games but I wouldn't bank on it.

Absolutely .....

a Chelsea win at our place would see them only a point adrift of us , and Spurs aren't far away either ..... we'll do well to finish ahead of both .

We really need to wake up , and quick !
