So is saying Iniesta 'maybe' was as talented as David Silva.
Iniesta, Dave, Xavi and Alonso were the most talented midfielders of their generation. Haaland will be the most talented goalscorer of his. That rag **** was of his. Messi is the best of all time. At everything.

Erling Haaland - All 20 Goals & Assists for Manchester City So Far 1080p

Can watch this on repeat again and again! :D

Just noticed something that haven’t seen previously, but the final assist for Foden’s 3rd in the derby, just watch how quick Erling gets back to his feet after falling after slipping through the pass, then full speed on the off chance the ball comes back out from the shot. Just so damn hungry. Love it.

Sometimes a player will come along who's a few notches above the rest. For example David Silva was an outstanding midfielder, matched in skill and talent by very few of his time - maybe Iniesta. Silva was an absolute Rolls Royce of a player for us, and someone who you can still wax lyrical about all day long. Kevin De Bruyne, Yaya Toure, Aguero etc. all the same. Legendary players - not just for us, for but for football in general.

For argument's sake, let's say Kane, Lewandowski and Mbappe are the most similar strikers to Haaland at the moment (there have obviously been many other great strikers in the past too.) But Haaland, imo, isn't a few notches or a few levels above these other players. He's in another dimension altogether. He's 10 levels above his nearest rivals who are themselves the best of the best, the most elite players on the planet.

All of the above is backed up by the records he's setting - three hat tricks after eight games is outrageous when you think about it. Especially when you look at how long it took other players to do the same - Michael Owen being second on the list with three hat tricks...... after 48 games.

I've also noticed it's impossible for him to score a scruffy goal. Even goals coming off his studs look like carefully orchestrated affairs, somehow executed perfectly in mere milliseconds, every time.

He's always in the right position, his long legs get on the end of crosses that defenders simply can't clear, and I've never really got the impression he's busting a gut either. He just cruises around, smashing balls in the onion bag on demand. I don't think I've ever seen a player more clinical.

It's early days, but if Haaland carries on like this, he'll rewrite the history books and redefine the way the game is played - from opponents trying to adapt their games to contain him, to little kids coming through all trying to mimic his style.

If he continues in this vein of form, then by the end of this season his star will rise to where Messi and Ronaldo's were at their absolute peak. In fact, he'll probably surpass them.

I said in a previous post that life in general is a bit grim atm for most people. Tuning in every week to watch this monster produce absolute filth, every time he plays, is a very welcome distraction.
Poetic.

He will go through a drought and is very young

Just saying

This place will be fun if he doesnt score every game
The longest he’s ever gone without scoring since the start of his first full season is 7 games and luckily for us, 2 of those games were when we faced them in the CL knockouts. Otherwise, well… we’d have been knocked out!

173 - ERLING HAALAND
147 - Marco van Basten
141 - Lionel Messi
129 - Sergio Agüero
103 - Luis Suárez
102 - Cristiano Ronaldo
80 - Robert Lewandowski
76 - Samuel Eto’o
65 - Zlatan Ibrahimović
62 - Thierry Henry
46 - Emilio Butragueño
42 - Alan Shearer

22 years old. Alfie's lad, Messi, Aguero and an awful shower of wankers.
