I must confess I hardly watched him for Dortmund - is 'few but high impact' touches his general theme? I get the impression he will do just as much without the ball, drawing markers and making runs, as with it.

Also for so little ball touches, he had an assist, should have had a tap in from Foden, snatched at a shot and looked a proper handful.

We just aren't used to seeing a striker of this type. Sergio(were not worthy) adapted his game under Pep. I don't see that happening anywhere near as much with Erl. He will have long periods where he doesn't touch the ball. As long as he's happy with that all will be very good.

For God's sake though can someone show him how to use his head. Those kung fu lunges are not good.

Haaland didn't score - but still had a huge impact on the game.

Assisted for our first goal; and helped KDB score our 2nd when several defenders pulled away from KDB to cover Haaland's run.

His passing and linkup play is undernated despite all the accolades, it sucks to wait a whole week to see him and new city in action

Each game has its own dynamic, and Haaland had different managers during his time in Dortmund. Each om them quite likely asked him to play in a slightly different manner.

The goal compilations on youtube give the impression that he was hardly ever involved in build-up play, but he sometimes also pulled off moves like this:

Was at the game and it is noticeable how much panic he causes the opposition defenders, it's likely why we had so many other openings on the weekend.

There’s an argument to be made that even though he only had four touches, he was Man of the Match. Erling was the player who Bournemouth spent the most time concentrating on, trying to mark, trying to stop, tracking his runs, doubling and tripling up on him… he was the most important player on the pitch in Bournemouth’s eyes, and the space created by this ensured we scored our goals in the manner we did.
