He was incredible today. But our attackers dont pass to him. That’s annoying.

Brilliant today I thought. Not too fussed about missed chances, just glad to have a striker who consistently gets in positions to score. Plus I feel he has a proper knack of scoring important goals like the one today.

A variety too from clever runs to knowing where the ball will land (goal) to holding defenders off etc.

His all-round game was fantastic today too in terms of linking up the play. Plenty more to come.

Haaland, to me, today is adequate, he is good movement-wise, but Gundogan's movement is much more dynamic than Haaland. But well, this is a process. The problem with playing with him is that like in that twenty minutes hoofing the ball to him will make City statics, it's better when he becomes part of the machine rather than just waiting for the ball as City.

But well he will learn it.

Made runs all game and barely got found. His presence in the box made the space for Gundo's goal and his goal got us back in the game. Plus he is just an absolute beast and his strength and pace caused them a lot of issues. I think once the team properly learns how to use him our game goes to the next level.
