As long as he's not arsed about not touching the ball and making runs selflessly then we're all winners because it'll just free up room for our midfielders - most of which have a goalscoring eye about them as shown on Saturday.

Pep saying he likes strikers to be touching the ball might be telling, though, so we'll see. Only 2 games in and I'm sure we'll see his real role carved out in the coming months.

Scary really.

Haaland was quite brilliant. Opposition utterly terrified of him and this freed up space elsewhere for us to score. Can't wait to see him against teams that are not too cowered into parking the bus - they'll play higher up and provide him opportunities to bust a gut plowing through the middle. What exciting times, blues!

Already starting to do what I thought Kane would do for us: poses the hardest question in football. Do you follow and keep tight on Haaland, come out to Kev or Gundogan, or watch one of Foden or Mahrez coming in behind you. What a nightmare.

Unpopular opinion but Haaland would score bucket loads at Liverpool with the way they play.
He’d score a bucketload anywhere, not just Liverpool

Edit: maybe not if he played in the borough of Trafford

well let's hope he does just that when we play there.

will be good to hear all their fucking lemmings silenced as they are battered as Haarland brushes VVD aside.
