Good sign, this is going to be a unique and very long season, if we hit peak form in the new year all is good, the world cup will destroy a lot of players and club sides hopes. We are not in full flow, that is undeniable and undebatable.

The viking is unstoppable in full flowSo the paper talk is that rival managers are ringing around to collaborate as to how to stop our Nordic giant lol.
Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that he only has 8 touches a game. That’s only 8 chances to scythe him down!
All this kerfuffle about the number of touches in a game. I couldn't care less. If he had 3 touches in a game and scores 3 goals I'm not going to complain.
I was also thinking about Merlin when I saw that Gundo through ball. David Silva would have had a field day creating chance after chance for the big fella!
What is not being mentioned by the " experts " is his movement in the box creating space for others to exploit. So the paper talk is that rival managers are ringing around to collaborate as to how to stop our Nordic giant lol.

Exactly, it’s not like he’s stood about doing nothing he’s occupying centre halves and constantly looking to be in the right position. It’s not like we aren’t still dominating possession with him in the side. He could drop deep and get plenty more touches but what would be the point when all our team (aside from Kyle in midfield) are very good at doing that anyway! What is not being mentioned by the " experts " is his movement in the box creating space for others to exploit.
The origins of that article are really piss poor and although coincidental, the word was used by frank leboeuf for ESPN, post palace, it’s a story collated from Chinese whispers and frankly, cringeworthy! So the paper talk is that rival managers are ringing around to collaborate as to how to stop our Nordic giant lol.

Early days but I think you can probably add to that list mental strength and brains. He is not phased by not being involved or by missing a chance. He has already talked about listening to the manager and executing his instructions. He understands how to create space and possibilities. Though he's a primal force on the field when he speaks off it, he seems grounded and smart. He is physically unique. That's what sets him apart. He reminds me of Jonah Lomu and Usain Bolt when they came along and were physically superior to their competitors. We've had big 6 foot 4 target men before but none have had the sheer pace that Haaland has. Accompany that with being deadly in front of goal and you've got a monster on your hands.
