He's not even world class at this point, there simply isn't any other player in the world that comes close to what he is capable of imo.

Generational talent.
 
Turns out the hair band was suppressing his real power.

Another superb performance that shows how good he is without having to score a hat trick. Link up and hold up play were excellent, absolutely terrified Holding and Gabriel.
 
His overall play and first touch and awareness has got better and better under pep’s coaching this season. Almost the complete footballer and goal scoring machine . His work rate last night was phenomenal.
 
I feel like he's completely changed the psyche of the team.

18 months ago all those missed chances at 1-0 would have got the crowd nervous and the players would have started snatching at chances. Now no one cares, it's just on to the next chance and score that one.
 
World class hold up play last night for a lad who’s just a tap-in merchant. With our midfield, a towering target like EBH, and a brilliant long ball player like Eddie, it’s bloody nice to know we can go to that to counter a press and have success.
 
The first touch for the first goal under pressure is Mahrez-esq.. He’s beginning to take his game to an even higher level.
 
Haaland scoring with his hair down is the most "next" move I've ever seen. Mentally he was in the dressing room and he still popped up with a goal. Unbelievable.
 
A proper team player now.

Last night, just before the goal to make it 3-0, he went through 1v1 against Ramsdale and missed again - well in fairness it was a great save actually. That was his third or fourth miss of the night. When he got the ball off Kevin a minute later, it would have been so tempting to run at Gabriel and unleash one to try and get his goal, but he saw Kevin, knew he was the better option, and unselfishly gave it to him to seal the game.

That's world class team play and the type of stuff Pep will love. It would have been so easy in that moment to try and boost his personal average but he put the team first and waited for his own moment to shine. It reminded me of when Aguero went through 1v1 against Liverpool in 2017 and instead of taking it himself he squared it to Jesus to make it 3-0 and build the kind of team spirit that took us to 100 points.
 
Biggest compliment to Haaland is that Pep has changed his City team to suit him.

No longer are City so obsessed with Possession at all costs, they are happy to sit and counter with this lightning beast. He's made City multi dimensional.
