Presumably the “shoulder injury” the commentators alluded to at the end was a false alarm?

Move where? Madrid is overloaded and Mbappe is coming. Barcelona is broke and disorganized. I very much doubt he would go to Italy or France right now. Back to Dortmund?I really wouldn’t be surprised to find he wants a move soon . He really looks like he is not enjoying the role Pep makes him play in this side . His body language is pretty bad most of the time as he is constantly frustrated by lack of service and the game going on around him not through him .

Not the most succesful..(never seen that written anywhere!) Just more enjoyable to watch. Also having a focal point to try and hit..often..is very basic stuff v fluid inter changing.. just my opinion. Loads differ and thats fair enoughJust to put some meat on the bones with this argument that we are better with a false 9.
We played that way for the best part of two seasons and whist winning the league we never came close to a treble which was achieved in Haalands first season.
We could possibly do it again this year. So yeah, you might prefer that way but saying it’s more successful is as much bullshit as trying to claim that Haaland is an issue.

I think sometimes people only look for him in the box or up near the goal area but a lot of the time forget to watch him in the middle or when he’s running up the pitch. Yesterday his speed was good he was being hacked at by the Newcastle players every time they felt they could get away with it. He could be a high jumper as well because a couple of times he did a jump over the opposition player prone on the floor after they’d tried to break his leg!!
