He has only scored in 6 of his last 20 competitive fixtures for the club. I know he sets ridiculous standards, but we cannot pretend that this isn’t a worry. In that time, the only teams he’s scored against have been Forest, West Ham, Fulham, Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Everton. Let’s be real, he’s in absolutely shocking form considering he’s the best striker in the world and likely to finish 2nd in the ballon d’or.

It’s not solely the reduction in creativity either as he’s had a fuck tonne of big chances missed in these games.

I think ultimately most players are pretty bad at heading to the naked eye. I remember people saying Peter Crouch was a bad header of the ball, and yet around half of his goals were scored with the head. There are definitely some goals that Haaland has scored with his feet where others would have gone for a header though.

Maybe we need to bring the master onto the coaching team.

Haaland scored over 50 goals in his first season , there was bound to be a drop off especially when the main creator of his chances is out of the team for months , if you watch him live in a match (not on the telly)Haaland is still making the same runs every few minutes and taking at least two defenders with him , its our players not recognising those runs and making use of the space he creates.
He has missed a few sitters which he normally takes with aplomb but the main worry would be if he wasnt getting on the end of chances , with KDB , Stones and Grealish back in the team Haaland will start knocking the goals in and will shut up all the doubters ,but he might only manage 40-odd goals this season , what a disaster.
