We have won games without Haaland Foden and KDB. We would be weaker without them but would still get on with it.
The anomaly is Rodri who is truly brilliant but the problem I see is that we have not found an adequate back up for him.
We have been spoilt by Rodri and Fernandinho before him.
It took us a number of years to find Rodri and then make him into a Fernandinho replacement. So I think eventually we will but it will take a long time.

Spanish media rolling out the old "doesn't like the Manchester weather and wants to live in Madrid" line haha.

Yeah, the Norwegian lad who was born in Leeds, grew up in Manchester and eats donner kebab pizzas doesn't like cold weather and the English lifestyle...
The story being pushed by our national broadcaster is pathetic.

Anyone who has watched him since he came here, can clearly see he loves it at City, the way he celebrates, how pissed off he was when he couldn't play, unless you are some no mark journalist twat.

Was never going to get any space against brentfords compact defense. Lovely assist for Phil. Liked us using the channel ball for him, that's a vastly underused option for us imo. Only had one real chance, I'd expect a striker to score that but he did nothing wrong it would have gone into the corner, just a really good save from the keeper, perhaps he could have put more on it if we're being super critical.

His presence opens up space elsewhere, that alone makes him being on the pitch invaluable and left phil free to roam off him.

Was all about fitness for him, 85 minutes was more than I thought he would get. Needs one and they'll come flooding again, hopefully it comes this weekend before the waiting media start with their usual "he's not scored in 2 whole games" stories.

Ita hard judging this game as he's been out a while, but you compare the effort he's put in today compared to KDB first game back its night and day

He was guilty of just looking uninterested in the physical battle, and its been an issue this season not just the injury

He's still an asset, and him playing opens up space for others, but he has to do more if he's not scoring

Slow out of the blocks but created the room for Foden's header and a lovely simple assist for Foden's hat-trick , he has never scored against Brentford lets see how long that lasts in a couple of weeks when he is firing on all cylinders.
