Huge test for him at the weekend up against Saliba and Gabriel. They dominated him in both games last season.
Yep and it be Anthony Taylor I bet that will referee who lets a lot go

Like Agüero in the EFL Cup final against Arsenal
Just want to bring this to everyone's attention from @Kippax Street 1880. The last post in the 23/24 thread for Erling. Could prove to be a perfect final post in that thread.

9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24
Never let anyone tell you Kane is a better striker than this lad Haaland is a better goalscorer, and when he's not scoring he is creating space for his teammates, making runs, troubling defences etc etc All Kane can do is pass a ball better and 90% of the time he's affecting the balance to...forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk
I hope Pep has a plan for it. Last season it was obvious one of them would challenge Haaland and the other CB would win the second ball, hopefully we'll have the players around him if we go that route.Huge test for him at the weekend up against Saliba and Gabriel. Yep. To put it into context, he is currently only 17 goals off of Aguero’s best ever PL tally and we’re just 4 games in. He could match Aguero’s best ever (26) by the halfway point, if he scores 17 in his next 15 league games - a perfectly normal scoring rate for Haaland. We all love Serg, but Haaland is on another level. There's no shame in saying it.
I think you have to accept you get what you get from this lad iHe's been superb so far, but I would like more pressing for him. I don't ask him to press against Everton, but against elite competition, if you are not touching the ball, press as hard as you can. The few times he pressed hard, the Inter defenders went long and most often than not we got the ball back immediately.
Other than that, the few actions he was involved he did well.
I think you're right. We're more easily bypassed with him leading the line, but in the grand scheme that's probably a small price to pay for one of the best strikers ever.I think you have to accept you get what you get from this lad i
He scores goals.
I think his link up play has improved this season.
At the end of the day if he does nothing more than score who cares.
It'll only be when he's leaves people realise we have a genuine world star .
Genuine world class striker playing for little old city.
His numbers are ridiculous.
But some games he will do fuck all.
Would you swap him for any player who's playing now or even on he past.
I wouldn't
A section of our fanbase don't half like a good moan. Look at our apparent need to have a scapegoat down the years. Big Joe's first spell in goal, Edghill, Mahrez, Sterling, last night seemed to be Grealish's turn on here.9 goals after 5 games and still people moan about him wtf .
