personally i think the main target should be villa his goals per game ratio is as good if not better than anyones for the last three seasons in a team not in the top 4 in there country

Thatd make spurs a very good side,they werent far off being a good side in the back end so this would be very interesting

No thank to Heinze for so many reasons. Not too keen on RVN either. I think we should be looking for players entering their peaks, particularly with a target of top 6.

All of the others would at the very least add depth to the squad and I don't think we have a stroung enough squad where we could reject them if they're available and interested. Are they what we need? Probably not pressing priorities (apart from Huntelaar as a striker) but all would be welcome for me.

I'd definitely take the Dutch players, not a huge lover of Heinze, for a foreign defender he spends a lot of time on his arse after diving into tackles.

Wow! All the pundits say that city need a good defensive mid and Diarra would be perfect. He's also a leader. He had been the backbone of Madrid before he got nick'd. We should also get Drenthe as he is fast and could fair up some competition for fullback if Richards gets lazy.

Don't we have enough defensive mids already? Kompany, De Jong, Barry, Zabaleta? We need a creative back-up to Ireland, especially if Elano goes.
