9320 Reg Plate

Get it. And put it on your sportscar. There’s loads of them in Didsbury. I saw one the other day with D4 VE5 on it. It screamed small penis to me but then I noticed the City air freshener dangling from the rear view mirror so happy days.

Personally, I have never got why people want to splash out to have something that looks similar to their name stuck on their car. It doesn't enhance anything, it isn't aesthetically pleasing and if you walked around in a name badge, you'd look a right knob. However, as private regs go, one that subtlety shows your football allegiance isn't too bad.

I see you slipped in that it's a sports car. Is that a mid life crisis?

Or maybe its a ‘let’s just enjoy it’ time of life?

93.20 KA (for Kun Agüero, and KA rhymes with car)

Call it a mid-life crisis. I have never really like personal reg plates based on names or initials, but I am contemplating a personal reg plate on a sports car with 9320 plus a few letters. I would welcome views as to whether this is cool or naff. I like the idea of typically only really me plus fellow blues knowing the significance given I live in the South.
If it’s only significant to a relatively small number of people it will have the added advantage of being cheap.

Lots of people dissing mid-life crises, personally I really enjoyed mine, bought a ragtop roadster, because finally I could and when it died, decided to have a second mid life crisis and bought another. Wish I started them years before I did.

In answer to the OP, if you want it, get it

Not having a go but to me they are classless. So are sports cars on middle aged men.

My private plate is extremely classy and an investment (one of the two or three best City plates I’ve seen). So is my car, which is not a sports car but not far off - as it happens, I only bought the car because it was a bargain and something the garage I use happened to have in when my previous car went in for repair and turned out to be not worth repairing.

Cars should be enjoyed if you want more than something to get you from A - B.

This reminds me of when I put a casual observation on Facebook about middle aged men with white trainers and I got accosted by a family member with white trainers at a party the next week.
