A big "well done" to the Met

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...e-new-moped-ramming-tactics-face-prosecution/

It's started already, this action could lead to police being prosecuted.
It's now rapidly becoming a society where the victims are ignored and the thieving, slashing, maiming, murdering
low life that infest us get the attention and protections not afforded to the victims. I fail to see why anyone would now
want to join the police, or indeed the forces, when you can be hounded and do time for offing a terrorist that has recently
been nailing your mates body parts to trees.
So, the reduction in moped crime we've seen will now escalate once more, and if I were a copper now, I'd just let the fuckers
get on with it, if you're not going to be supported by the authorities for carrying out your job, just because some thieving twat
may have broken his neck evading arrest, then the job is pointless. Which is a terrible state of affairs, but we seem
obsessed with protecting villains at all costs,so apathy and disillusionment amongst officers will only grow.

Looks like this tactic like many others will be swept under the carpet, the copper in question could even be dismissed, a bit of strange reporting from the BBC to be honest, it's almost as though they see the moped rider as a victim so they made a minor injury sound more serious.

And this was his rap sheet just for this crime.

Love the wording on the rap sheet starting with “including” so it’s not even a complete list.

I advocate knocking the little twats off their fleeing mopeds, and would even go so far as to run over them as they’re on the floor just to teach them a lesson.

Nick Freeman was on the news the other day and he said that regardless of what Cressida Dick says, knocking a little twat off their moped is a straight up dangerous driving and assault. I’m sure you’ll agree that he knows the law.

The poor cops who mistakenly think that they can use this tactic and not get into the shit have got a shock coming. They’ll get dropped like a stone by the organisation when someone gets hurt and fed to the IOPC for their pro shitbag, anti cop, witch-hunt.

Those news reports that go "Joe Bloggs, with 93 previous convictions, today pleaded guilty to..." just hurt my head tbh. What the fuck are these people doing out of a cell?

Didn’t you know? It costs governments too much to keep shitbags locked up for their whole sentence (unfortunately). So there’s loads of shitbags roaming around, committing more crimes that they shouldn’t even be able to carry out! It beggars belief.

I've never swallowed that line, it costs just as much to keep chasing them, arresting them and prosecuting them and that's before fixing the damages they cause.

and this is exactly what the Police Federation raised. They basically said it was all well and good a top boss saying the constable could knock a robber of his moped but where was the protection for the constable. This excellent strategy will now be stopped because no cop will risk being sacked or getting done in the courts because a no mark jumped up do gooder decides he is in the wrong. Meanwhile innocent pedestrians and shop owners will be injured and valuable property stolen. What a wonderfull country we live in.
