A big "well done" to the Met

So how does PC Plod know that the man who is driving fast in his car has a nuclear bomb in the boot, oh wait, the terrorist dials 999.

As you say you are being serious i would say that they wouldnt chase him, they would stick a cop with a gun at the end of the road and they would shoot him.
And they'd be absolutely justified in doing so tbf.

Excellent irony there Mr Metal
What was ironic Mr Stoned

I saw that today and wondered why they were saying it was a new tactic, the cops used to do that sort of thing years ago until the PC brigade started demanding they get prosecuted. Faced with that threat, the cops stopped doing the sensible thing, the thing that the majority of the public would back them for. Wait until one of the robbers dies (they started to remove their crash helmets in the belief that the cops would stop chasing them) and the Guardian want a cop prosecuted.
The PC Brigade softened their stance somewhat she they kept getting their iPhones snatched on the streets of London

Without moving off topic too much, I was coming home from a night match around 10.30pm when I was nearly mowed down as a gang of around 30 motor bikes went past in what could only be described as an illegal road race, none had lights on, no number plates and few had helmets. Some went the wrong way round the roundabout and some were on the pavement. Other than knock them off as they are doing now, there was nothing the police could have done. I have no problems with this current tactic and hope it spreads to the rest of the country.
