I can certainly chip in about fanzines and the fanzine wars (anyone recall that thread!!) and also the SAFE campaign - 'standing areas for Eastlands' and my run in's with Chris Bird over that one!

Oh and the time I offered my house in Moston to Keegan when he joined us, for 20K... he turned it down!

I've just searched for that City fanzine thread and had another read through it. Its 7 years old and still one of the best threads on here.

Ok .at this rate looks like will have enough stuff for 2 books lol .many thanks to all that have been in touch and willing to contribute .i have not been disapointed with some of the stories that people are willing to share i have a couple of things to sort our with the publisher then will be in touch in a couple of weeks with everyone many thanks cheers Don

I have been in touch with a local publisher and the idea is for a book covering the history & culture of City fans from say the 50's to the present day content will be anything and everything covering away travle football specials fanzines websites forums Kippax City
Pubs suporters groups Forward with Franny Campaign Free 30 thousand 1894 group Hooligan era .Meeting players ect ect .nothing will be off limits to portray the History & Culture of the fans ,the working idea is for 10 -15 fans to write a chapter each 15 -25 pages any one interested getting involved to write a chapter please pm me there are so many great contributors on this site so lets hope it is a goer cheers Don

Hi Cyberblue, I was one of the original 4 people who started the "Swales out" campaign also involved in Forward with Franny and later Franny out!!
It was me who came up with the "Free the 30,000" slogan. Feel free to contact me...
