3 egg omlette i assume was 3 spaniards. Silva + 2 others. I guess Torres and Arteta

At least now, it can demonstrate at least, how City are going about their business, how things can change, and how info in terms of how it comes out, may or may not be relevant at the time and in the present.

Ha, No...

The Candy Man tune was a direct reference to The Toffees

The three egg Spanish omelette as of three weeks ago, Silva, Arteta and Torres.

I wouldn't with any certainty back, now back such a big omelette, but funnier things have happened...

In your opinion Tolm our we more likely to sign Arteta or Milner or Both ?

FFS. You obviously have not been watching Milner much - this chap is quality.
So many attributes and still to reach potential - City is the perfect platform. Villas best player last year and great great attitude

He's a grafter, nothing more.
TBH i really thought Zabeleta was quality when he played in midfield, and he scored that screamer against wigan... just my opinion

it does indeed, well thanks for what you pass on anyway, cmon you blues!!

We've already got Lescott. If we get Arteta, do Everton become our feeder club or do we become theirs through the funds we'd give them for them players?

Arteta should finish his career at Everton he suits them,on the other hand he could spend the rest of his life wondering what if.

He deserve's to win something, who with I dont know.

Manchester City & Manchester United on alert as Inter striker Mario Balotelli prepares to leave Serie A over limits on foreign players
Balotelli's agent claims the player wants to leave Italy...

Inter poacher Mario Balotelli is ready to ditch Serie A because of issues with the limits on non-EU players introduced by the Italian FA, according to agent Mino Raiola.

The FIGC drafted in new measures which limits the amount of non-EU players Serie A clubs can buy from two to one during the transfer season.

It's this change in policy that could push Balotelli to boycott Serie A and abscond to the Premier League.

"If [Giancarlo] Abete quits, then maybe Balotelli will remain in Italy. The heads of the Italian Players Association (AIC) must also resign," Raiola told the press as reported by Il Corriere dello Sport.

"The laws on foreign quotas are a scandal. It damages Italian football."

Manchester United and Manchester City are likely to have Raiola's ear following his announcement. With the emphasis on leaving, Nerazzurri CEO Ernesto Paolillo feels this is a chance to gain an advantage and profit on Balotelli's transfer - €40million (£33m) is the unconfirmed fee.

"Balotelli costs more that the rest because he is better than the rest. We will see his figures once offers arrive for our player," he said.

Balotelli has been strongly linked with an exit, despite Marco Branca, Inter's sporting director claiming he was not for sale on Wednesday night.

That standpoint was echoed by coach Rafael Benitez who said: "Balotelli is an important player for us and I want to evaluate him."

Yet the man whose hand feeds everyone at the club said late on Thursday afternoon that the club were considering offers.

"He is requested by many clubs, and we are evaluating the situation," said president Massimo Moratti.

As you can see from my OP, I have no knowledge whether Arteta is any way related to Milner's signature.

At least maybe some sceptics can concede the info has been correct with regards these two names.

My gut tells me that we are using one name to strong arm another, but I would not in the least bit be surprised if we got both.

We were offering players for Arteta last time I heard.

But the info re Milner is strong in terms of optimism.
