Just curious why nobody has commented on the fact that Ozil said last night on his Official Twitter page that City are in for him (along with Inter, B Munich, and Arsenal)...

Considering how popular he was on these boards during the WC - you'd think everyone would be buzzing about that...

Before anyone starts - it's definitely his official page and seems like from the answers, definitely him answering.

I really don't think we need Ozil. I'm getting a little concerened that we are buying a whole new team, yet again. We could end up with 3 out of 4 defenders being changed. 3 out of 4 midfielders being changed or even the whole 4. And a new striker or even 2.

That to me is absolutely ridiculous. Unless we sell about 12 players, then fair enough it's the right way to go. But at this rate we'll end up with about 45 players to squeeze into a 25 man squad, it's a joke

Someone has just edited their FAKE profile to have a unicode tick (webdings or something like that) on their profile!

I agree with ADJ here. Yes, im very happy we are in for these players, but we already have the foundations of a great squad. If we buy 7, 8 or 9 players we are back to square one, where we have to get our squad to gel and its Christmas again before a team starts to kick on a gear.

We have Yaya, Silva, Boateng and now probably Kolarov. I think we need one or at a push two more. Milner and Balotelli would do thanks.

I agree about not changing the team so drastically early doors but the squad situation is nowhere near as uncontrollable as suggested. If we trim off the obvious candidates & sign a few more we end up with a nice squad of about 20 odd plus some kids.
