The problem is that our club doesn't print tickets for aways and getting away clubs to print individual tickets with photos on would be practically impossible. First of all, our club would need a database of photos of all of us. It would be many times harder to organise than setting up a collection point in the away city.

Like you it guarantees me a ticket as well.I see the new tighter points inspection regime as a win win, guaranteeing my ticket for future high profiles games. As ES2 and others have said, there are improvements that can be made to overcome teething problems.
If Bluemooners think that the benefits of Supporters Club membership are as great as you suggest then just to say that the Harrogate Blues are encouraging more members for next season. We've also got a trip to the races lined up for the 23rd July!
However I'm not an 'all right Jack' like some posters and believe the system should make sure what is right for some fans, should be right for all others.

It might be fairly straightforward for 90% of people to upload a photo. The problem is with the final 10% who might not have a smartphone or aren't up to speed with how to do it. Even if the club manage to get a comprehensive database, why would the away club agree to printing individual personalised tickets when they aren't doing it for their own fans? What if they don't sell out until a couple of days before the match like with PSG?

The collection at Euro aways has absolutely nothing to do with points whoring, no matter how many clueless individuals come on here and say it is, they're just deluded and I'm wasting no more of of my time showing them the evidence which they ignore.

As I've said before, I don't really care why they've brought it in but as it has the effect of making ticket distribution fairer, I'm all for it. That's not to say that there couldn't be improvements. As you say there's an issue with tickets for SCs and official trips that needs to be resolved.Fair enough

I was thinking more about sending out tickets with people's pictures on them as suggested by a few on here.
We will get to the Champs League Final one day. Would have loved for it to have been the San Siro!
Next Year’s Finals are as follows:
Champions League: Cardiff Wales capacity 74,500
Europa League: Solina Sweden capacity 50, 653
Using this year’s figures as a guide, City would get around 19,000 tickets for Cardiff, but only around 12,000-13,000 for Sweden.
That could be fun and games.
