And what are we surprised? All the same these 'celebrity supporters' rgardless of which club they attach themselves to. They want the publicity and reflected glory but very few if any are prepared to get of their arse and do something or put their hands in their pocket. The Gallaghers are no different.

In fairness the Gallaghers and Oasis were the only thing that kept THEM in the public eye as we plummeted down the leagues

I agree 99.99% with you. However, if a few quid from these so called supporters gets us the funds required to pull it off because we can't generate the required amount between us then so be it.
However, they shouldn't and won't get any extra / additional publicity from it.

bollocks they were; what kept us in the public eye, and gave us our reputation, was the continued loyalty of our fans, and the increase in attendances the lower we dropped - not a couple of Blues who attended the odd game in London, but anyway that is not what this thread is about

We are on the edge of £6000. We need around £1000 now to make this happen, which is going to be a real grind to obtain, but once we hit £7000 I have the opportunity to negotiate further with Gazzetta.

Things slowed a lot yesterday so we need to really push it today. If anyone has any ideas, by all means put them forward and spread the word far and wide.
