How does it not make sense? I believe if we get the likes of Pellegrini we'll play attractive football, the expansion of the stadium and new players etc....is this not exciting times ahead?
So attractive football and a bigger stadium is a better outcome over silverware? Regardless of how attractive the football is success is measured in pots? Otherwise it's x millions spent to effectively be Arsenal.
Don't get me wrong, I think Pellegrini could be THE man but we still have to win.

Right, this thread has gone weird, but there's an update:
I am currently negotiating with Gazzetta about prices.
We really would need a LOT of donations to make this happen, and from some big hitters for this to work so that will need some thought.
Should I bite the bullet and go ahead with this, we will need real support.
Donations will be via PayPal, and everything is set up and ready to go live.

I think you'll be shocked how well this well take off.
Ask Natalie Pike and Kevin Horlock to drum up some help they are helpful on twitter.
Maybe even Ricky Hatton will put something forward.

Think back to the Manchester Thanks Sheikh Mansour banner. That cost was well over a grand if I remember correctly and we raised it.
I'M 100% sure we could get to the figure quoted by Gazzetta. It would go viral.
Also press Gazzetta about the free world wide advertising they would get from such an add. ;-)
