Totally agree with this. Don't think you are being naive at all. I think the naive ones are those who think all City can offer is money because we aren't in the Champions League THIS SEASON. For a player signing a 5 year contract now we probably have as good, if not a better chance, of future Champs League qualification and trophies than Arsenal or Liverpool, and certainly more than the likes of Spurs, Villa or Everton.

I guess it hasn't registered with some people that the days of Michael Ball and Darius Vassell are gone for good.
