A song for Erling...

Great song, I’ve often thought it would make a great football chant ^
I doubt it'd catch on. Too complicated to sing and fans nowadays like easy short songs n' chants and most are plagiarised from other clubs songs. Like I've said before we need something unique brilliant and befitting to our Norwegian superstar.

I totally agree.
Keep it very simple, everyone in the world will join in even my friends 9 month old is getting in on it. By some subliminal induction to city, he is on his way to almost busting out "Haaland" as his first word,

Haa land

Haa land

Haa land

Non stop ( maybe alternates within the crowd, it will sound intimidating to opposing teams.

As I said I am beyond certain he will have many chants so those that want to sing others they can.
Said this a few times, but it needs to be slowed right down, at the minute it sounds like the ‘Shearer’ version and needs to be more like the ‘Messi’ chant, it could sound absolutely menacing if we got it right….would also like to see the rehash of Yaya/Kolo sang alternately with KC singing Alfie Alfie Alfie and the SS picking up the Erling Erling Erling part, would look visually good, create banter and an echo when sung

The problem of bouncing songs from South stand and 'kippax corner' is the divide of the away fans. And when they're in full voice is difficult to hear hear much of what the South sand sing. I was in 110 till this season and 109, 110 and 111 all sing. I think the best solution would be to move the away fans to the other side of the south stand so we have SS and KC together, or give away fans half of SS3. I think half of SS3 is best place for away fans but it's up to the authorities to decide on ease of access

Our singing volume will become much louder if we merged our 2 main singing together allowing other parts of the stadium to hear and join in.

Iceland Viking clap to go after each Haaland would song great, not sure about how appropriate it is, but since Norway is famous for the bearded pillagers it could work

Someone posted one based on ' is this the way to amarillo'. Surely the one, could see CityTV doing a Peter kay-esque take on it

Reminds of me of this i wrote back in the day: )

To Amarillo - Tony Christie/Peter Kay

here goes - Dunne a Willo

Sala la la la la salad
sala la la la la la salad
sala la la la la la la salad

There's a diet warning, his shirt's the size of a caravan awning, big cow pies he'll be there, napkin on with a Desperate Dan stare

In defence at City, is where our Dunny's at, runs like Mr Blobby, the speed of Postman Pat

[chorus]

Did Dunny monster eat young Willo?
Looks as if he's eaten half of Castillo
Dunny's hard as an Armadillo
and no ones safe at Man City

sala la la la la - salad
sala la la la la la - salad
sala la la la la la - salad
Singin' songs in Mary D's

Your ears will be ringing, deafened in there by the City boys singing.
For the sweet Mary D' er, the main pub that us blues have a beer

Just beyond Alan Touring way,
there on Grey Mare lane
Its where us blues drink in, when there's a City game

Did Dunny monster eat young Willo?
Looks as if he's half eaten castillo
Dunny's tough as an Armadillo
and no ones safe at Man City

Singin' songs in Mary D's
sala la........................................salad

Dunney monster of City ...

Willo Flood - ex academy player
Nery Castillo - Mexican flop
