What was with the yaya song yesterday ? Surely it wasn't with different lyrics ?

i suggested erling/alfie to the yaya/kolo song in this thread about three weeks back but no one seemed interested as "alfie wasn't a legend". maybe someone else posted it even before that to be fair.

I liked the Alfie / Erling Haaland to the Kolo / Yaya song I heard yesterday, now that has legs!

It is also iconic to the toure brothers and been sang all over the world, and picked up a cult following amongst more tham city fans.

To repurpose it amd let it lose that iconoc status is lazy and devalues the song and the toures imho.

I heard someone in 119 say same on sat, or as their words were "alfie was rubish when here" a fair few others also were just not gonna joinin in when it was sang, myself included, but when the haaland, haaland haaland was chanted most in the corner did.



Kolo/Yaya will probably stick, but with it devalued as anything special chant wise but something to regurgitate when possible
