Police enjoying themselves beating up protestors on the ground with their shields.

Lets hope they don’t inadvertently ‘break their own arms with all that hitting’. And by break I mean lie about it afterwards :)

These wankers should not even be there in the first place and having had several days of this shite, and having being told (and ignored) to go home repeatedly at gone 10pm, wtf do they expect.

Normal people realise that these "protestors" are in fact nothing more than trouble making cunts and if the police want to go in heavy-handed then that's absolutely fine. Normal people wish they would do so more often.

The bill isn't going to mean we all lose our rights to any protest and you must surely know that.

But if it gives the police more powers to disperse people and prevent the occurrences on Sunday night in particular, then I suggest approximately 67m out of our population of 67m, are in favour.

First of all there were way more than 100 and second, there's a fucking lockdown on. The police were turning a blind eye for 8 hours in allowing them to congregate in the first place.

I’m extremely uneasy about any legislation that gives police arbitrary powers to decide which protests can go ahead and which can’t, tbh. Anyone who cares about democracy should have concerns about the way this bill was rushed through.

Bbc being the bbc asking the bristol top cop if he thinks the police were heavy handed and making a bit of a deal of it.

As if they are enjoying that? Get real. They have better things to be doing than that, like their proper jobs. They will have been pulled off their shifts responding to calls and dealing with their workloads. This means that victims of crime and people that need help wont be getting any. It means villains can go out and commit crime because all the police are dealing with these twats. It means that days off will have been cancelled, and they will have been prevented from knocking off on time. This means that that they work long hours which means that they are knackered and no good tomorrow. It means that bobbies left on shift are depleted and so they are knackered, and the overall effectiveness of what they can do for communities is reduced. No good comes of this, and nobody will be enjoying it. I can assure you of that. Silly, thoughtless and very inaccurate post.

There will be posters on here asking why the police didn't investigate a rape/domestic violence/burglary or that it took 3 hours for them to respond to their phone call about yobs. They will then having a go at the police for dealing with violent thugs in Bristol, London, Manchester saying the they were heavy handed, it was just a demo etc.

If the Police are wall to wall clearing the street then it’s probably not a bad idea to keep moving.

That he is a member of the press is secondary to being twatted.

The police are not there to twat people standing in the street, or punch young women in the face, albeit it is better than murdering them or posing for selfies next to dead women. #smallmercies
